Are decades-old unused plastic sandwich bags/wax paper/aluminum foil still safe to use for food storage?

abiebaby47 | Oct 6, 201802:29 PM     9

Found several opened packages, containing unused contents, dating back 15-20 years plus; the wax paper box, e.g., says 1994. Is it still safe to use this stuff for food prep and storage? Do they have a shelf life after which they are not safe? Many thanks!
