Had any dealings with Cuisinart lately?

I am at my wit's end. I truly think they might be gaslighting me.

I have the classic bar blender. In December, the blade broke--rather the bar that goes through the entire cutting mechanism, just snapped right in half at the bolt.

There are no parts associated with the model on the website, and the other blender blades available look different. https://www.cuisinart.com/shopping/bl...

I called and was told they would have to check, call back in 3-5 days and give my name, and they would pull up the info. Did that and nope, no record of it. Again gave all the info, this time was given a reference number so I was optimistic. Called back a couple weeks later, the system is down, so I call back the next day. No record of reference number. I give up hope on the customer service center and go to Facebook / email with my complaint. They are now more responsive, but when they respond, they tell me I have an "invalided" model number. Well it's copied directly from the website! Second response, actually it is the serial number that is supposedly wrong. Since that is printed on the sticker underneath, I am doubtful, but I will dutifully check with a magnifier when I get home.

I really want to crush this blender in the street at this point, but the freaking thing cost almost 100 bucks, and the motor and pitcher are fine, though the cap cracked practically the first time I used it.

BTW, my Cuisinart food processor and mini prep have also broken during this time period--the cheap plastic on the bowl covers on both. It is just so depressing how there is no longer quality anymore. Quality is materials, craftsmanship, or customer service.
