DC Hound in Oak Brook

Daniel K | Jan 5, 200508:43 PM

Visting Oak Brook on a business trip next week. Will probably get into the city once, but most evenings will probably just grab a bite locally before I crash at the hotel.

The catch is, though it's a business trip, it's not one of those "expense account unlimited" business trips - total with tax and tip shouldn't go north of $30-$40 when possible.

I'm also going to have several non-chowhound diners with me, so I can't go too crazy on unusual eats.

So what do you recommend? One colleague has his mind set on Weber Grill, no matter how many bad reviews I show him. I also see Wildfire in several recent discussions, so that's a good bet. What else in that area should we consider?

If we get one night in Chicago, what should be our destination? Location might be just as important as food, since we have just the one night.
