DC: Would welcome comments/suggestions on my tentative iten

maryclaire1 | Jan 24, 201503:47 PM

Hi! I am traveling to DC in mid-April for conference. Will have some free time before and after. I've been following this Board since October and you have given me a very difficult time narrowing down all the choices! I love fish and seafood, so-so about meat, like mexican, spanish, french, italian cuisine, bistro atmospheres are a fav, not looking for ethinic (minneapolis has thriving ethnic scene)or extremely dressy (most days will go straight to dinner after walking all day).

I will be staying in Arlington Saturday - Wednesday, then moving to Dupont Circle Hotel Wednesday- Saturday. I will not have a car. I don't mind public transportation or hopping a taxi here and there, but would prefer for the most part to walk.

Monday and Tuesday night I will be with a small group (12) from conference, and we need separate checks, not too daring of a menu, must have meat options, and would like to be in walking distance of Marriott Crystal Gateway (for at least one dinner). The rest of the days I will be solo and will have no budget limitations.

I apologise for the long intro, but wanted to be helpful in looking for your guidance. Would love your thoughts and suggestions!
