T-Day Panic? - Saul's to the Rescue

rworange | Nov 23, 200503:10 PM

While I'm eating out for Thanksgiving, I wanted some 'leftovers' for Friday.

Saul's has some excellent items, so if you haven't even contemplated Thanksgiving or the boss has you chained to the desk ...

Roast Diesel Turkeys - sliced (white or dark). Whole turkeys were still available.

Very good gravy. Nice cooked greens with pine nuts. Excellent challah stuffing with thick mushroom slices. Bulgar stuffing has a little spicy kick. Don't like the texture of the mashed potatoes ... a little dense ... but nice sour cream and butter flavor. Even like the fancy dancy Russian vodka cranberry sauce and I'm an Ocean Spray fan.

Well, I did do a small test run before putting things away.
