day break bar at finch, east of kennedy

I've just had the most horrible experience at a bar. If I were smart like you, I would have not even tried anything remote to even going near that bar. I'm talking about Day Break Sports Bar on Finch, east of Kennedy. The patio was big, and there were people sitting out, and thats what I thought was good ('coz if there are people, it must be a good place to go). But nooooo ..

Problem 1: My SO wanted a Rickards Red. The waitress, either she was not familiar with English (she spoke with an accent) or that she was new or dense or whatever, she just couldnt understand what he was saying. I mean, at least get help or something, but my SO eventually changed his order. Only THEN do we realize that there were Rickards Red signs all over the patio.

Problem 2: I have NEVER touched a menu as greeeeeasy as theirs. Seriously, like your hands would have slipped off. I made minimal contact with it.

Problem 3: Hair on chicken wings. Can we say YUCK? I had to pluck them out. And I've never been to any place that serves chicken wings with the drummette and wingette still attached together. I've never had buffalo wings before, dont even really know what they are (different marinade?), and the waitress, again, failed to understand my question.

Later on, we just flagged down the other waitress that was there, and just got her to get stuff for us. We are sooooo not going there ever again. And please, if you just want to have a quiet time out in the patio, enjoying your beer or whatever, DONT GO THERE!!!
