My wife and I had dinner at Dawat in White Plains last
night. We've been there a few times before, but they
really excelled last night. We had their daily
special, rack of lamb crusted with Indian spices and
cooked in the tandoor. It was exceptionally good, and
went well with sag paneer -- which they do very well --
mint paratha, basmati rice, and dal. Dinner for two
with drinks about about $60.
My only complaint is that their beer list is boring.
They do have Flying Horse, the best of the Indian
lagers in my experience, but I wish they'd add a few of
the local microbrews.
