Just catching up on my reading from a recent Bay Area visit. The Sunday Chronicle had an interesting article about Yolo County. Occasionally this board gets inquiries about Davis. I was wondering what Chowhounds think of the restaurants mentioned in the article. A link to the entire article is at the end, here's a summary of the places mentioned.

Mishka's Cafe
Ciocolat (weekend high tea is highly recommmended)
Cafe Bernardo
Cafe California
Dos Coyotes Border Cafe (fish tacos)
Sophia's Thai Bar & Kitchen
Sudwerk Privatbrauerei Hubsch (microbrewer ... sausages)
The Farmer's Kitchen (fresh from the farmers market ingrediants)
El Mariachi Taqueria (20 fresh salsas and moles. fresh aqua frescas)
Taqueria Davis (coctel de camaron, seven fish soup)
The Mustard Seed
The Symposium Restaurant (Greek)
Soga's Bar and Restaurant
"Picnic in the Park" on Wednesday nights

The Buckhorn Steak and Roadhouse
Chuy's Taqueria and Restaurant
Putah Creek Cafe (home-baked sweet rolls)
Verduzco's Taco Wagon

Cuatro Milpas Taqueria y Restaurante (panbazo, a Mexico City torta made with potatoes and chorizo and finished with crema, chopped white onions, quesa fresca, lettuce and salsa ... then dipped in enchelada sauce and grilled ... I want one NOW)

Morrison's Upstairs
Ludy's Main St. BBQ and Catering
Ranch Kitchen (biscuits and gravy)
