SF chowhound visiting in 2 weeks. Will be taking (grown) daughter to dinner. Currently have reservations at both for Sat night and need to cancel one. I've read most of the old threads - just wondering what people's most recent experiences were.
Reservations are early (only time I could get) - like 6ish so if there is a difference in how "rushed" we might feel this is important too. Daughter is vegetarian - I prefer fish to meat. I'm thinking of tasting menu to sample the "best" of the chef, unless there are better ideas.
