What's been your best culinary encounter this summer?

Summer is not officially over until Sept. 22, but I was wondering what interesting summer culinary experiences Chowhounds have had this season. Could have been during a trip, at a local farmers market, a restaurant meal, or even your own kitchen.

We've had a few that stand out: incredible Lamb Sliders at Artie's Steak & Seafood Restaurant, City Island, The Bronx. Wild Mushroom Pizza at Le Sirene, Larchmont, N.Y. Delicious Bouillabaisse at Pearls, Kennebunkport, Maine. Great BBQ at B.T.'s Smokehouse, Sturbridge, Mass. Fish Tacos at Mole, Manhattan's upper east side.
