Culinary art & paintings: what are your favorites?

I enjoy wandering thru museums and galleries wherever we travel. I guess, because of my lifelong interest in food & dining, I always search out art as it relates to the culinary. There is a lot of history. One of my personal favorite paintings is part of the permanent collection at the Phillips Museum in Washington, D.C.: Renoir's 'Luncheon of the Boating Party' (www.phillipscollection.org). It moves me every time I visit, so lush and beautiful. It runs the gamut, of course, from Warhol's 'Campbell Soup Cans'; Wayne Thiebaud's 'Cakes' series; Norman Rockwell's 'Freedom from Want' ode to Thanksgiving; even the amusing chef depicted by Rupert Garcia's 'No More o' This Shit'.

What are your favorite paintings and art depicting the culinary world? By any chance, do you own such a work? Please share...
