hey folks -
my wife was putting our cuisinart back on the shelf (after making mint pesto for some soba noodles, topped with spring asparagus and seared new england scallops, but that's another story) and she accidentally dropped it from about 6-7 feet up, resulting in a loud nasty thud. it still works but has a small (1 inch?) crack in the plastic housing on the back of the base, right about where the cord comes in.
this is probably a pretty random question, but is there anybody out there with tips on reasonable repair or replacement, or any possibility of getting this covered under some sort of warranty? it's at least a few years old - maybe 5?
or, should i just be glad it still works, hit the crack with some gorilla glue, and be done with it?
