Went to Cugini on Solano recently.
I had the gnocchi with creamy pesto sauce. A friend had a chicken risotto.
It was entirely acceptable. If you live close to Solano and 1) really really want somebody else to make you Italian food, and 2) really really don't want to drive, this would be a reasonable choice.
The gnocchi was good. I enjoyed it, but it was basically exactly what I would have made for myself on a lazy night at home. The risotto was better--maybe a little overcooked--but also not outstanding.
If you're looking for greatness, you will be disappointed.
Any recommendations for better Italian on Solano?
