Cuchi Cuchi

We had a great time at Cuchi Cuchi last night. The tapas were amazing. There were 6 in our group and we each ordered 2 things and shared. That way we all got to try most of the menu and we all left full. The duck was amazing! I also really enjoyed the eggplant Napoleon with goat cheese. I really recommend this place for small groups looking to relax and have a few appetizers and drinks. The blackberry cosmo was one of the best drinks I've ever had. Martinis are usually very syrupy and sweet, but this one wasn't really sweet at all and almost tasted like a fresh fruit smoothy....spiked of course :-)
My only negative comment is about the hostess. I had heard complaints about her from others, but now I have experienced her rudeness first hand. The hostess usually adds to your first impression of a restaurant and I have to admit when I walked in and had to deal with that hostess, I almost felt like walking back out. Not a warm welcome at all! Good things their food made up for it!
