Cuban on the West Bank

Speaking of the West Bank, do Chowhounds know about Christy's Po Boys? It's at 1102 Stumpf Blvd., across the expressway from Home Depot, near the fabric store. We think this place is one of the best kept secrets in the city. I suppose they serve po boys, but the real attraction is Cuban food. They are only open for lunch Monday through Saturday, so we often go on Saturdays. (They seem to do a lot of take out orders, so you could stop by in the afternoon and take it home for dinner.) In addition to a short regular menu of Cuban dishes, they have daily specials, and on Fridays and Saturdays the oxtail stew is to die for. Of course it comes with black beans and rice, sweet or green plantains depending on what's available, and you can get rich buttery yucca stewed with onions. They also have batidas, the fruit shakes made with milk, ice and various tropical fruits such as mango, guanabana, passion fruit, etc.
