Just returned from lunch at Sophie's a local Cuban spot. I had chicken soup, as I often do there, and it reminded me to ask the group something.
The soup was very good, and very starchy, that is, it contained chicken, the usual vegetables (some carrots, some celery, I think) and also macaroni, potatoes, and corn-on-the-cob.
Is this typical of Cuban soups? Cuban chicken soup only? Sophies only?
