No CT hounds know these places?

Visiting a 'Connetian' friend this past weekend, I enjoyed several memorable eating outings. I was surprised to see that none of them have been mentioned here (or I didn't search properly???)

Blue Lemon - Westport - Inventive, globally inspired continental, with really fresh ingredients. (Scallops/Risotto w/ preserved lemon) Truly tasty. Smart wine list too.

Little Breakfast Place - Fairfield(maybe called home on the range) Sorry...can't remember...but on a main type street w/ some antiqueeee stores nearby. Great Blueberry pancakes and very good coffee...kind of cheesy to charge extra for maple syrup (charge me more for the pancakes)

Also, not on this trip, but several times not too long ago:

Mecca - Norwalk - Excellent Spanish...have had wonderful rib eye w/ goat cheese...lovingly stuffed piquillo peppers...grilled squid was perfect....classic bacaloa fritters...All good; every time....

Couldn't get into Cafe Rafael...have wanted to try it for some time, but it just got a good Times review, and they were booked...

.also sorry to have missed those chocolate donuts in Westport...

I'm interested in any really chowish finds in these (kinda pricey) neighbs....I'd love to turn my friend on to some super secret delicious 'secrets'...Anyone?

Also, I'd be interested to know if anyones been to these places that I've mentioned. Without local support, I fear CT will be relegated to Bertuccis and I-hop.
