I am making corned beef and cabbage for the first time. I would like to use the crock pot as it seems this is how it turns out most tender. I would love any of your best recipes that you have used and loved. I would also like some help on what to do with the veggies and potatoes as this is extremely varying from person to person it seems. Some say if you put them in at the bottom with the meat then they turn to mush and this is only to use for flavoring of the meat. Some will say theres do not turn out mushy at all. Some say to put some at top and bottom of meat and the other say altogether to cook them somewhere else. Can you please help me out and let me know the best method, I don't want mush. So can you tell me how you do/cook your veggies and potatoes in detail since I am new to cooking.
