Craigie St. Bistrot Disappointment

prissl | Oct 17, 2003 12:00 PM

I was very excited to finally make it to Craigie St. and was somewhat disappointed. Perhaps my expectations were elevated, however my primary complaint was small portions. My friend's meal of gray skate (?) was tasteless and the accompanying salad was, for the most part, non-existent. While my chicken was acceptable, I found when I got home that the server had failed to include the side leftovers in my doggie bag and simply took the leftover half chicken breast and plopped it in the aluminum dish. I don't think I should have to ask the waiter to make sure and get all the accompanying side tasties in the take-away bag as well. You may be thinking "why did she say the portions were small when she walked away with take home"? Well, I guess I overdid it with the bread as we waited over an hour for our meal to arrive. Total for 2 dinners, an appetizer and one drink a piece, with tip, was $90.00.
