Well it's been a long time since I've been to Corks. Probably a good year or so, at which time I was seated in the way back of the restaurant, got bit by a mosquito, and was served a pork loin still raw in the middle (not pink, mind you, but just not cooked).
What a difference a year makes. Chef seems to be back in the game, re-focused, and ready to create. My dining companion and I feasted on frogs' legs over black-eyed peas and pancetta, a delicious soup of the day, perfectly cooked veal medallions (sorry, I couldn't help it), and fresh fish. Service was fine, and we had a very enjoyable meal.
