Do I need a copper stew pan?

So I came across a new Mauviel 2.5mm stainless lined 9L copper stewpan (around 11.5 wide and 6" tall) Importing it from From france including duty and shipping fees was less than 1/2 the us retail price. Now I am having buyers remorse, does anybody really use a copper stew pan? Is there anything I can do better with this than with my old Le creuset dutch oven or the 11.5" 3,5 mm tin lined copper rondeau I also picked up? Sorry if this seems like a dumb question but I am a newbie here and hoped you could share your great expertise.
