Copper on Degraw

I was wondering if any chowhounds have made it to a fairly new spot on DeGraw off Henry Street called "Copper" (as in kettle not officer of the law). Small place doing "American" food. You know, the Chilean sea bass, balsamic roast chicken thing. I had two appetizers and a salad (I wasn't that hungry). Coconut fried shrimp with a Thai dipping sauce, a chicken quesadilla and a salad of watercress, arugola and warm sliced pears with a raspberry dressing. Shrimp, not so hot--literally and figureativly and the Thai sauce seemed to have a ketchup base (Forgive me Chef, if I am wrong). Quesadilla was pretty damn good. So was the salad. The room is small and I was disturbed by how much kitchen noise I could hear. Also noticed that they were out of a lot of dishes others in the restaurant were ordering.

Anyone else eat there yet? I'd love a reality check. I don't know that I'd make a special trip to go there again but if I lived in the neighborhood they probably get a buck or two from me.
