Cookin A Goat???

Bought a few lbs. of cabrito at HEB and will be cooking it this weekend on the good ol' twenty eight dollar Char-Broil water smoker. Any tips on marinating the meat or should I just use dry rub similar to brisket or ribs? Thanks for any suggestions...
