Hello all, time for a new thread. I've been reading Medrich's FLAVOR FLOURS on Kindle and really like it. Haven't made anything from it yet, but it's very enticing. I'm also reading CRUMB by Ruby Tandoh, which was recommended here, and am a bit iffier on it -- nothing I've read so far has tickled my fancy, but who knows what else I'll come across in it. The prose is very engaging and the content closer to my own slightly slapdash approach to baking than to the beau idéal precise Beranbaum approach (the recipes always work, I have to admit it).
Whatcha scheming to, or actually getting your paws on, these days?
