I have recently discovered at our pubic library, a dangerous new cookbook that is just going to have to become a part of my collection of southern cookbooks. It is Damon Lee Fowler's New Southern Baking. There are so many mouth watering recipes, biscuits, how about fried biscuits? All sorts of recipes incorporating rice in baking. There is a bourbon pecan bar cookie which I will be getting to this weekend. It is like a pecan tassie but faster and easier.
I'm only half way through the book and as a carb counter I am in trouble but I have got to have this book.
