I have a confession to make: I don't like pizza.
Everytime the family wants to order pizza, i look at menus for a meatball sub.
here's the deal, I'm not a big cheese guy, I've never really cared for a lot of "red sauce" and maybe my pizza associations have been spoiled growing up in the land of stuffed giordanos, edwardos, unos etc.
But for what it's worth I have had pizza at regina in boston (which was mentioned as having one of the few coal fired ovens in the country) and was not overwhelmed.
So for all you hounds out there is there a pie that will turn me around, make me glad when it comes time to get pizza again?
Bonus points for a pie that's close to evanston or oak park.
