Conran Cheapie!!

I hold no brief whatsoever for Terence Conran but I have to say that the bar meals at the Butler's Wharf Chop House are terrific value and are available in the evenings.
Last night I had a buttery, feather light smoked haddock and spinach tart with red pepper chutney,a tender and moist chargrilled pork chop with champ and horseradish butter, and a yummy steaming hot treacle tart and custard. With several varieties of their home baked breads and fancy French unsalted butter, this meal cost £11+ service.Wine, however,is the same price as in the expensive main restaurant,so would bump the bill up considerably.Credit where it's due, though, for Tel.
