I am making the Mexican/Central American version of shrimp cocktail for a party this week and currently sorting through recipes to find a variant I like (ketchup or clamato, oh the debate..). I've had this at a taqueria near Waltham, and was thinking of a quick return visit this week to refresh my palette so I have some flavors to compare against.
But, before I settle on a place, has anyone had a really good coctel de camarones in Boston Metro, and where'd you get it? My only other comparison is a street stall in downtown Mexico City, but that's too far for a quick reminder visit..
Or if anyone is a master chef at this, any advice would be appreciated. Thx..
