Cleveland Hounds: Thanks for the Tay Do Tip

barb | Aug 12, 2003 11:31 AM

We were in Cleveland from SF to visit some long-lost relatives, and I scoured this board for recommendations for restaurants near the airport.

Tay Do came up twice, so we went there on a Sunday night, and had the best meal of our trip! I still can't get used to smoking being allowed in restaurants, but once we got over that, we had a wonderful meal. The service was warm, and the menu extensive. We shared spring rolls with the best peanut sauce I've ever had (light and not too sweet). Our main orders were wide pho noodles with onions, and a vegetable tofu stir fry with ginger and garlic. The dishes came out of the kitchen in an unhurried pace, but the quality of the dishes was stellar....fresh, with good spice combos. Thanks so much for the recommendation. After seeing all the fast food around Cleveland and Cincinnati, we were grateful to find this oasis.
