Clearwater Beach - Red Tide - Frenchy's Original Cafe

Coyote | Sep 17, 2005 04:59 PM

Heads up to locals who have been missing Clearwater Beach, no red tide. I get a Florida Department of Fish and Wildlife report twice a week by e-mail. There were hardly any people on the beach this a.m., but also no dead fish or unpleasant odors. I am sure restaurants on the beach have been suffering due to lack of tourism, because of the red tide situation. Glad to have the opportunity to go back. Stopped in to Frenchy's Original Cafe and shared smoked fish spread, mussels, and three Brahma beer (Brazil) at two bucks a piece, $19 plus tip. Excellent. Address, etc., on link below.
