Clarification of Quality Chinese Food

Wontonlover | Mar 1, 2006 01:04 PM

Having read everyone posts, I guess I should clarify my meaning of Quality Chinese Food in Boston.

By Boston I mean: Boston, Brookline, Brighton, Allston.

Chinese Food: I mean Americanized Chinese food, I am hoping everyone knows what that means.

Additionally, I am looking for a place that provides reasonable prices.

To give everyone a reference of what I consider okay Chinese food (Americanized), I believe Typhoon is a decent joint.

As a side note if anyone can tell me where I can get a great Roast Pork Wonton Soup (one that contains huge pieces of bbq pork), the kind where one serving is a meal, please let me know. I have been to the Hong Kong Eatery for soup, it is pretty decent but their wontons have shrimp in them, I prefer my wonton to be filled with pork. If anyone has ever been to Wong Kee on Mott Street in NYC, that is the type of soup I am looking for.

On a neverending quest for a phenomenal wonton soup.
