I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this or a strong opinion on its usefulness one way or the other. I like the idea of one pot doing the work of two as long as it can perform those tasks admirably. It has the diameter of a large saute pan (10-12") and is approximately the height of a 3-4 qt sauce pot. I was looking into saute pans when I came across this so my main concern would regard any drawbacks of having a saute pan that isn't as shallow as traditionally designed. Not having a large sauce pot, the ability to use it for dishes like curries would be a plus. Interestingly All-Clad has it priced below its comparably-sized saute pan.
