A general question to all: Mike Klein mentions in his Table Talk column today that Walter Staib of City Tavern won some more awards. He is always winning awards yet the two meals I've had at CT over the years have been big dissapointments. And nearly all CH reviews have been poor too. (Overpriced as well as not interesting and too much aimed at the tourist.). Anyone want to venture a guess as to why the difference between his "award winning" food and the food he serves in his restaurant?
