I just went to Tadich Grill for the second time. We were there early enough to avoid the long wait for dinner. I decided to order the cioppino since I had never tried it. It was delicious!! I ate the entire bowl, which was full of white fish, one big shrimp/prawn, rock shrimp, four clams, and crab. It was served with two slices of garlic toast. Does a better cioppino exist in SF?
By the way, our table also ordered pork chops and a pan-friend petrale sole (this one also very good). I had heard that the rice pudding is their special dessert, but I expected rice pudding and not a custard-like/flan-like dessert. Ok the menu did say custard, so maybe I didn't put 2 and 2 together. Overall, it was a great place to spend a cold autumn evening.
