Chutneys WLA Wonderful Meat Samosas

Servorg | Feb 10, 201105:21 AM

Chutneys has long been our go to "to go" option for Indian food locally. They have some good to very good Indian food, including their "chicken Dahi" family dinner option that includes a half chicken and sides for around $17 or so. I like their regular nan quite a bit. Puffier than most other places. But the one thing that draws us back (now going on probably 20 years) is their meat samosas. Little triangular, flaky pillows of ethereal goodness. These are ground beef with seasonings. Lots of Indian places don't offer meat samosas, or, if they do, they are usually a mixture of vegetables and lamb. If you're ever in the mood for ground beef samosas, and in the area, give them a try. They are mostly a take out joint, but they do have an okay space to eat in, which they redid a few years ago.
