Christmas Eve Restaurant in Brooklyn or Queens

Bob Martinez | Dec 13, 2002 12:59 AM

I like Christmas as much as the next person but I have a friend who *really* likes to get into the Christmas spirit. We always go a restaurant on Christmas Eve and then move on to midnight mass. The problem is that my friend always complains that the restaurants we've gone to never have enough Christmas decorations. The usual small wreath and tree that most places display aren't enough for her. She wants *more*.

How much more? Think of Rolfs' in Manhattan and you'll be in the ballpark, but trekking into Manhattan on Christmas Eve is a bit inconvenient. So gang, can anybody suggest a place in either Brooklyn or Queens that will make her happy?

Just to be clear, the particular type of cuisine is unimportant. For this one night the decorations take precedence, but great food would be a bonus.
