So, in our last installment, the salivating chowhounds were scarfing Malaysian food at Penang..Before that, over dinner at Ho Yuen Ting, they had discussed two things;

1)That the next chowdown might be Ethiopian, Addis Red Sea, or that place in JP,

2) 9lives suggested this sort of feed might be institutionalized, say, on the second Tues of each month..The hounds lustily barked in agreement...Of course, the second Tues in Feb is a LONG way, Feb. 12, which is also the lunar New Year...Will this prove a problem to any hounds? Would you prefer Feb.5? Will this be enough advance notice? Does anyone hanker for a New Years Banquet? Is anyone brave enough to order it? (using Melanie Wong's guideline from the SF board?)...

But getting back to the initial question...We had discussed Addis Red Sea in the South End..I also looked up some reviews for Fasika, in JP. There is another place in JP, called Sagla, that has no bar. I have not checked to see if it could be BYOB, but it all honesty, it sounded better for a lunch...Addis Red Sea is in the South End, which might be kinda fun, since we could then stroll, or troll, for trendy cocktails..(There are some hounds, and YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE, who know all the good bartenders...)
