Chow Lunch Thursday---Ethiopian

johnb | Jun 28, 2004 01:10 PM

I propose a chow lunch Thursday at Queen Makeda, the best Ethiopian I have found. It's one of several Ethiopian places that have opened up on 9th St., and who cater mostly to Ethiopians. Steve S, who knows about such things, agrees it's tops. Everyone is welcome. Meet at 12:30 sharp.

If you would like to join, if possible please e-mail me so I can let the restaurant know roughly what to expect. But if not just come anyway even at the last minute.

I'll post a reminder on Wednesday.

Directions: The restaurant is at 1917 9th Street NW, just south of U St. Nearest metro is the U Street/Cardozo stop on the green line. From the metro, exit at U and Vermont, walk one block east to 9th, turn right, and the restaurant is half way down the block. If you drive, there is ample metered parking nearby--bring quarters.

See you there!
