More choices for Japanese in the Western 'Burbs...

Ron_L | Dec 21, 200308:54 AM

While driving around in the western 'burbs over the past couple of days I noticed a couple of new Japanese restaurants.

Mr. Miyaki - On Randall Road, between St. 64 and Rt. 38 in St. Charles. This place is in a strip mall with a sports bar, and near the Kane County Clerk's office (old Montgomery Wards store). The sign says that it is a Japanese seafood, sushi and steakhouse. Its not open yet, but there is a lot of work going on inside.

JuRin - The second location for JuRin of Geneva is now open on Randall Road just north of Silver Glen Road in Elgin. Also in a strip mall. JuRin in Geneva is one of my favorites for sushi and teppan, and the new JuRin advertises both. They are open, but I dodn't have time to stop in and check it out.
