I had the most intensely satisfying warm chocolate chip cookies at a restaurant this weekend, and am looking for a similar recipe.
The cookies are perhaps a third of an inch thick, probably because there's so much chocolate in them.
To me, they weren't so much cookies are high quality chocolate (not too dark, tasted like a 50-60%) and chopped walnuts loosely held together by sugar and flour. They were very soft, even at room temperature, and just barely crisp around the edges. the chocolate never hardened to a crunchy state, even after sitting overnight.
Please help! These were phenomenal--a chocolate and nut lover's dream.
