Finally got around to trying the caramel recipe you shared with me a few months back and it's a winner! I love the simplicity of the method. Your instructions were spot on and this will now be my recipe of choice. Made Nigella's millionaire shortbread bars and wanted to make a caramel without condensed milk so I substituted yours. It made quite a lot so I also made a batch of turtle brownies and a dozen or so turtles. It was a wonderful afternoon in the kitchen and I was delighted to not be pulling out tufts of hair in another struggle with caramel. Thanks again!
