Chinese Oyster Bar?

Well that's what I thought for many months driving by 523 S. San Gabriel Blvd. seeing Vino's Grill Oyster Bar (with appropriate Chinese lettering) readying to open up. However, walking in for the first time today it turns out that Vino's Grill Oyster Bar is just a standard Hong Kong style cafe that's open from 7 am to 1 am. Indeed there's nary an oyster on the menu, just three types of mussels. However there is a hand drawn sign on the wall offering $5 oyster shooters. I must say that the food is excellent though. The baked fish on a bed of egg fried rice (described incorrectly as creamy rice) was fantastic.
