chilli-cha-cha - great cheap thai in the lower haight

Chilli-cha-cha in the Lower Haight, located on Haight near Fillmore, right across from Walgreen's is a yummy, inexpensive Thai noodle and curry house. I've been on a Thai jag lately and Chilli-cha-cha has been filling my needs for incendiary thai food - once I convinced them that I could handle it, they make their curries explosively hot, which makes my tongue so, so happy.

The staff is warm and friendly in the Thai manner, and their sauces are scrumptious. I've been a big fan of their Garee Gai and Tod Mun Pla, and their Panang Gai and Panang Goong are also worth mentioning. Their Pad Thai is just about nearly perfect, and unlike many other Thai restaurants, they will serve sticky rice vice jasmine rice upon request, instead of reserving it for dessert.
