Chili Relleno Casserole

I'm making this casserole. It is layered with a meat mix, cheese, chilis, etc. The last step is a mixture of milk, eggs, flour and seasonings. I am pressed for time and would like to make this recipe a few hours in advance of company, then pop it into the oven. Will I run into trouble putting the milk, eggs, etc on the layers in advance?
