A recent thread on table manners (and lack thereof) brought up teaching manners to children, and how important it is.
I thought about seeing (on tv) this woman take her kids into a restaurant, where a couple of the 10 year-old kids spat out something they didn't like-right onto their plates-with a big "blech"!
Not one of them had a napkin on their lap either.
I was appalled and would have been mortified if my children did that.
So, what are the milestones you wish for your children to achieve and at what age?
For example, eating with mouth closed, passing food before starting to eat, placing a napkin on the lap...
