Our weekly visit to Park Ave in Stanton:
We start with the stuffed mushrooms with scallops in a horseradish sauce. Did not work at all for me--bad combo of flavors IMO.
Then we split their new wilted spinach salad served tableside ($5--enough for two!). Delicious--what a value!
Next I enjoyed the best chicken fried steak I've ever had--superb! (they say it's grilled??)($12.95)
Of course we had our $6 martinis and a great 1/2 bottle of Dynomite (I think) cabernet for $16.
Chocolate-berry bread pudding was pretty good. Their homemade vanilla ice cream however is fantastic!
Where do you go for terrific chicken fried steak?
