Chicken Fried Chicken

Does anyone know where I can get a decent chicken fried chicken in New York? They used to serve an incredible buttermilk (I think) variation at the much missed Hotel Galvez: moist and crunchy and chewy all at once. Although it's an incredibly heavy dish when coupled with mashed potatoes, greens and gravy, every now and again the discomfort was truly worth it.
