I'm making a recipe of Chinese style chicken and broccoli and it's been years since I made it. It calls for rice wine. I don't feel like going out and buy a bottle, last time I got it was at an Asian market. Can I use a dry amercian wine? Other recipes I looked up called for sherry but my local liquor store only sells big bottles of sherry and I'll never use it all before it goes bad. Should I go out and get the rice wine? Thanks!
