Luke's Italian Beef-not as good as expected

First time in Chicago and first Italian beef. Lunch was Italian beef sandwich, Italian sausage and sub. The meat on the sandwich was similar to Philly cheese steak but it was served pretty wet. It was tasty but needed the flavor added by the au jus. Should have asked for the bread dry. Ordered without the giardiniera-not a fan. The Italian sausage was very flavorful (better than the beef) and came with excellent grilled onions on a poppy seed roll. Wifey's sub was good but a bit spicy. pretty good but i bet there is better in town.
