Chez Laurence lunch review

I just came back from lunch by myself at Chez Laurence (corner of Madison and 38th). The restaurant was crowded and buzzing with an upbeat vibe. The inside looked exactly like a bistro in Paris, nothing looked forced. My waiter was prompt and knowledgable about the food and also very good looking. I ordered a goat cheese spread on bagel chips that were cooked to crispy perfection. Afterwards I had Chicked Gourmande (salad with mixed greens, tomatoes, walnuts, roasted peppers, grill chicken, and a very light honey mustard/vinegrette). The food was very tasty and didn't leave me feeling weighed down afterwards. My bill was only $16 which included drink, tax, and tip. I'm sure I will go in the future.
